Verona is part of Dane County in Wisconsin. It is one suburb of the Madison metro area and is just a few miles from the heart of Madison’s downtown area. The town is named after the city of Verona located in New York. Verona, WI was first established as a village in the year 1921. In 1978 the village was incorporated and became a city.
